The World of Commedia dell'Arte
This video was very useful as a first source of research as it gives me a basic understanding of the primary characters and their mannerisms.

Alice in Wonderland
I intend on creation at least 20 ideas based on characters design or background design by the end of the session.
In my quick sketches I was thinking of a few quick ideas, I quickly started running out of ideas. I then started to develop my idea of the castle but I started to doubt the actual design of the castle. Over the next week I need to research into castle and buildings, I want combine every day building with castles.
I still need to look in to scenes for extra ideas as I started to run out very quickly.
Hopefully next week I will use a graphics tablet.
Today I will use a graphics tablet to create the scene of the queen of hearts castle. I need to look into castles more. I will maybe then make a small 3D maquette of the castle out of card.
I need to look into ways of constructing with card for next week to create a maquette.
From this week onwards I will start designing furniture.
