Jackson Pollock

I researched into the work of Jackson Pollock. As you can see he splatters paint onto his desired ground. I like the way he works as it is a organised mess.
I like the colours that he uses are very nice as they sometimes clash but they work very well together.

Peace Room

My final piece for the piece room was based around the work of Jackson Pollock it was of a wide range of colours splattered onto canvas.
I think that my piece came out very well I think that the colours used are very warm and welcoming. I feel that it is matched the brief very well.

I did some testers so I could decide what colours to use.
I liked all of the tester pieces so I decided to combine all of them to come out with my final piece. I was happy with the end result. I chose to put the thin black and white lines and splatters I've the top as it makes the colours look brighter.

I enjoyed this drawing I still need to work on getting the tone right!

Liverpool

We went to Liverpool on the 4th of February, while we was there we visited three galleries. The walker gallery, the blue coat gallery, and Tate Liverpool. We also went to Crosby beach. Where Gormley's figures are.
All the photos above are from the walker gallery I liked all of the pieces because the content within them is really interesting. All of the pieces are very accurate, I like see paintings in first person as you can see all the cracks and the brush strokes.
The last group of photos are from the Tate Liverpool I like all of these pieces are abstract and could have many different meanings and I like that someone had gon through a process to get to that final piece. In the blue coat gallery I didn't take any photos as I was so interested in the art.
